공예교과의 개념을 정의하고 학문적 특성을 논의하는 가운데 공예교과의 교과론적 가치와 그 의의에 대한 이해를 도모하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 공예교과교육론의 이론을 바탕으로 공예교육의 의미와 역할, 공예교육과 교육과정, 평가 등에 대해 다양한 탐구를 진행하고 공예교육론의 중요성과 전반적인 문제점을 논의하며 새로운 공예교육 방향을 탐색하여 본다.
교과목해설(영문)
Course objectives include mastering an extensive body of craft knowledge, effectively using craft data to support an argument, and recognizing the value of craft. Accordingly, students will evaluate the meaning and role of crafts through various activities in addition to examining the significance of this curriculum and its flaws. Students will be required to explore a new direction to this course as well.
