공예교육 이론을 기반으로 하여 다양한 공예 분야를 학습현장에서 실제 학습 대상에 알맞게 효과적으로 지도할 수 있는 문화예술교육사의 공예교육 지도 역량 강화를 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 동기 유발 방법, 사고 기법 적용 방법, 교재·교구 활용방법 등의 효과적인 교수 학습 전략을 학습하고 창의적 교수학습 과정안을 작성하여 학습 현장에 적용할 수 있는 실제적인 능력을 갖추도록 한다.

The curriculum of this course requires students to demonstrate an understanding of the aesthetic value of handicrafts to increase their artistic expressiveness. This course is organized into four units of study: history of crafts, Korean craft style, characteristics of modern crafts, appreciation activities.
