본 교과목은 다양한 공예 교수학습모형에 대한 이해를 기반으로 공예교육에 효과적인 교수학습 전략을 활용하면서 문화예술교육 패러다임에 적합한 공예 교육프로그램을 개발할 수 있는 기본 역량을 기르기 위한 과목이다. 이를 위해 교육프로그램 개발의 원리와 방법을 살펴보고 공예 지도영역별 특징과 교육대상별 차이를 이해하면서 교재교구 사용의 중요성 등을 파악할 수 있도록 한다. 또한 우수한 공예분야 문화예술교육 프로그램 개발 사례를 검토하여 창의적이고 효과적인 프로그램 개발의 아이디어를 탐색한 후, 수업지도안을 작성하고 시연 발표, 수정, 보완의 과정을 거쳐 실제 공예교육프로그램을 실시해 볼 수 있도록 한다. 이를 통해 문화예술교육의 시행 목적에 맞는 공예교육프로그램 특성을 이해하고, 지속적으로 다양한 형태의 공예교육프로그램을 개발할 수 있는 기초 역량을 기를 수 있게 한다. 따라서 본 교과목은 교육프로그램 개발을 위한 이론적 기초를 토대로 공예분야 문화예술교육사로서 전문적이며 교육적 효과를 높일 수 있는 공예교육프로그램을 개발하는 데 중점을 둔다.
교과목해설(영문)
This course aims at fostering a basic competency to develop crafts education programs in accordance with the existing educational paradigm of arts and culture by having a good understanding of various teaching-learning models and by utilizing effective teaching- learning strategies suitable for crafts education. Students should understand the characteristics of the areas of crafts education and the differences among the objects of education and realize the importance of the use of educational materials and aids. Additionally, they should come up with ideas to develop creative and successful programs by reviewing the development cases of outstanding arts and cultural education programs specialized in crafts. They should conduct a crafts education program by giving a demonstration according to the teaching plans they mapped out and by modifying the plans. They should have a perfect understanding of the characteristics of crafts education programs as arts and cultural education and should be capable of developing a variety of crafts education programs. This course focuses on teaching students to have a theoretical understanding of educational program developments and to develop professional and effective crafts education programs as arts and cultural educators.
